WEDNESDAY WANDERLUST: THEODORE ROOSEVELT NATIONAL PARK, NORTH DAKOTA
By Paul Strubell of Dirt Orcas – 5/17/17
This edition of Wednesday Wanderlust takes us to Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. An often forgotten member of the National Park family, this area, know as the North Dakota Badlands, gets less press and far fewer visitors than the South Dakota Badlands, but that doesn’t mean it lacks anything.
Endless outcrops and scenic topographical changes mark the landscape, giving way to the abundant wildlife. The looming presence of the Missouri River right off the campground is a nice addition as well.

Enjoy this scenic addition to your day and think about exploring forgotten places.
