Today's Three Cool Things is all about your face. More specifically, taking care of your face while on an adventure motorcycle trip.

THREE COOL THINGS - DON'T GET STUCK!

Since the weather outside is frightful for much of the United States, I thought this would be the perfect time to do a Three Cool Things for staying mobile whether you're on the road or off. These things will certainly help keep you going in the event you are stuck.

THREE COOL THINGS: FOOD STORAGE

This edition of Three Cool Thing focuses on food storage while you are on the road. It's one of the things that draws a line of demarcation between weekend warriors and long term overland travelers and adventure motorcyclist. The ability to keep food hot or cold, for an extended period of time while living out of your vehicle, can make or break the experience. Here are a few items you may want to consider if saving food for later is part of your needs.

THREE COOL THINGS: STAY POWERED UP

This edition of Three Cool Things focuses on staying charged up while on the road. If you are overlanding or adventure motorcycling, these things will keep you powered up so you can continue to use your electronics even while off the grid.

DIRT ORCAS MASTER GEAR LIST

I wanted to create this quick access guide to the gear in my set up. There will not be any reviews found here, but assume that if it makes this list it has the full Dirt Orca's Seal of Approval.

THREE COOL THINGS

This edition of Three Cool things is all about simplifying your camp experience. If you are overlanding in a car or van, your camp set up often includes many of the luxuries of home. However, if you are adventure riding on your motorcycle you still may want to bring things like a camp stove, chair, and some of the other comforts of home, space is far more limited. The items you choose become precious. Their weight and size matter.

2017 RIDING SEASON IS HERE

If you are anything like me you typically spend the winter months planning epic rides for when the weather starts to cooperate with motorcycling a bit more. Many times I pushed that a little too hard; Starting a big ride just a bit to early in the season. I am always optimistically thinking... "as long as we head South it will get warmer", painfully neglecting the idea that you have to ride North to get back home. You can read about a fun early season trip I took down to ride the Tail of the Dragon, that I called The Soggy Throttle 2000, here.

THREE COOL THINGS

This edition of Three Cool Things focuses on your feet. When getting ready for any motorcycle trip there is a fine line between having all the right stuff and over packing. You certainly do not want to bring things you won't use, but you also do not want to leave something you'll need behind. This is where my advice on shoes comes in handy.
